Kin’s Farm Market needed a new online ordering platform in to remain competitive during the Covid 19 pandemic. I was hired on as the sole designer behind this project. I used data from the existing online ordering system, and did a competitive analysis of other grocers. This, combined with my experience working for SPUD.ca helped me identify what our highest priorities were for the new site.
The finished result was more user friendly and was quickly adopted by the stores. It made Kin’s promotions more discoverable, and highlighted their most popular items. It broke the fruit and veggies into a wider variety of sub-categories making the shopping page easier to navigate.
